Who is Capture Wild Alaska?

A very blessed man, Todd Whetsine lives out his dreams in Alaska.  Whetstine is a multiple award winning photographer with a great gift and unwavering passion for teaching nature photography. 

He's taken over ten thousand people into the wild and came back with clients feeling confident with their high-powered cameras and newly acquired skills.  Whetstine's goal for clients is to never shoot in auto mode again.  Teaching you to harness the true power of your camera resulting in YOU create YOUR OWN masterpieces.

Todd's beautiful wife Tina is the backbone of the operations.  She does everything you won't see like... pay the bills, cleans the cars, bakes home-made goodies for clients, etc.  Plus she makes sure all Todd's clothes match and makes sure he has his camera gear before he hits the road.  She's the reason there is a Capture Wild Alaska.    Thanks to her, Todd will never have to grow up.  He can just keep roaming the wild.  Building as many blinds/forts to shoot photos from as he chooses. 

If he ever tries to tell you hard he works?  Don't believe a word!!  Tina does all the work.  He makes a living doing what he loves.  He gets paid to play.  Living out his dreams in the vast Alaska wilderness.  Just like he said he would!!
