Eagles Migration

Join Todd in breathtakingly beautiful Haines, Alaska to capture the largest congregation of Bald Eagles in the world November 7-14, 2024.This workshop happens to coincide with the incredible annual Eagle Festival and great eagle migration in the Chilkat River Valley. 

It's absolutely unbelievable!
Anywhere from two to four thousand eagles will converge on the River Valley during this week scavenge and fight for late season salmon. These are very rare once in a lifetime photo opportunities!! Don't miss out!! 

The main focus of this workshop is capturing fast paced action birds in flight. We will also do a little double dipping and shoot a few grizzly bears. They'll also be roaming the river trying to add a little body fat for their long winter's nap.

If we get lucky enough to have a clear night and a good KP index the option to go out and shoot Northern Lights could be made available. (Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can't be guaranteed even on the best nights)

 Capture Wild Alaska Provides lodging, transportation during the workshop, snacks and drinks out in the field and meals. Easy to follow photography instructions will be constant throughout the week.  

Rental cameras are available, tripods can be provided when needed.

Airfare and transportation to and from Haines.
